Groups & Classes

Connect with others and grow in your faith through our groups and classes.

With it being one of our Core Values, we believe that “Community” in LifeGroups at VNC is a great way to get connected with other believers, grow in your faith, and experience true community (celebrating together, grieving together, and growing in Christ together). Our groups strive to help people Know Jesus more, Love Jesus more, and Obey Jesus more, as we become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. If you’d like to be a part of a LifeGroup, or lead one, please click the button below and let us know.

The Bible Recap (TBR)

The Bible Recap (TBR) is a daily Bible reading plan with an optional short daily podcast that highlights and summarizes that day's Bible reading in an easy-to-understand and casual way. VNC partners with TBR hosted by Tara Leigh Cobble who leads us through the Bible in chronological order. Join anytime. This is a great opportunity to find community at VNC.

New this year is the TBR Kids Recap for ages 8-12. They will have their own daily podcast hosted by Emily Pickell or "Miss Emily." This program will be available in late December 2025 by going to TheBibleRecap.com/Kids. There is a TBR Kids' Devotional Book for ages 6-8 following the same 365-day chronological plan as the kids, teens, and adults. Each day includes engaging activities and highlights key verses, essential truths and facts about God's character.

Rooted

Rooted refers to a 10-week small group discipleship experience designed to help individuals deepen their faith journey, connect with God, and find their purpose. It emphasizes the importance of practicing seven essential rhythms for a healthy relationship with Jesus. These rhythms may include prayer, service, Scripture study, sharing stories, and more. It is facilitated in small groups of 10-15 people. Groups meet for approximately two hours each week for discussion and experiences centered around the workbook content completed between meetings.
